Holy Hill offers simple, overnight accommodations to anyone seeking an opportunity to encounter the Sacred in a place apart from the busy world. Our retreat facilities are housed in two buildings, the “New Guest House” and the “Old Monastery Inn.”

Holy Hill Guest House, as a center for spiritual retreats, maintains a strict no drugs, no alcohol, no smoking policy. No alcohol should be brought into the retreat house. Please Note: the New Guest House and Old Monastery Inn overnight facilities are older, and not handicapped accessible. Access for anyone with a disability can be quite a challenge, as there is a full flight of stairs to the New Guest House rooms, and the four levels in the Old Monastery Inn are connected only by stairs.
"New Guest House"
Built in 1962, and renovated in the spring of 2017, the New Guest House is located above the Gift Store. Each of the fourteen rooms has two single beds and a private bath with shower.  A communal kitchenette is available for use by all guests.
"Old Monastery Inn"
This is the original monastery, built in 1919 and converted into retreat rooms after the new monastery was built in 1935. This historical building retains all the character (and some of the quirks) of the original structure, and has a uniqueness many have come to cherish. Twelve of the fifteen retreat rooms have two twin beds each, and all rooms are located on the third and fourth floors. There is one large, common bathroom per floor. A conference room, lounge, retreat kitchen, and chapel are also available for guests to use.
Room Rates:

Old Monastery Rates - Single Bed: $40.00 + tax
                                   - Double Bed: $50.00 + tax

New Monastery Rates - Single Bed: $50.00 + tax
                                    - Double Bed: $60.00 + tax

PLEASE NOTE: Guests must arrive before 6:00 PM to have access to the rooms.  Rooms are not handicap accessible: both guest houses have stairs leading to the rooms.

Q. Do you offer retreats at Holy Hill?
A. We provide retreat accommodations to individuals and groups. Retreats can be any length, from one day to a maximum of two weeks. Retreatants are invited to walk the grounds, which feature an outdoor Stations of the Cross and a portion of the Ice Age Trail. They are also welcome to attend daily Mass at the Shrine church (6 and 11 am), or to pray in the Shrine chapel. A conference room, lounge, and kitchenette are available for retreatants’ use.
Q. Can we get married at Holy Hill? Can we have our baby baptized at Holy Hill?
A. The Catholic Church teaches that the sacraments of marriage and baptism are most properly celebrated within the worshiping community of a parish; therefore, the Shrine does not ordinarily celebrate weddings or baptisms.
Q. What hours is Holy Hill open to the public?
A. Holy Hill grounds and church are open daily
May 1 -- October 31: 6:00 am -- 7:00 pm
